Out of Hours On weekdays between the hours of 6.30pm and 8.00am, and all day and night at the weekends and on bank holidays, access to Out of Hours services is now via NHS111 - please dial 111. After assessment of your symptoms you may be invited to attend the Out of Hours Centre which is at The Great Western Hospital site.

Home Visits If possible please try to telephone reception before 10am if you require a home visit. A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

Cancelling Appointments If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone as soon as possible.

Opening Hours

blue_clockThe practice has reception staff on duty on the telephone from 8:00 am until 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday (urgent matters only 8:00am to 8:30am and 1:00pm to 2:00pm). The reception office is open for visitors from 8:30am until 6:00pm Monday to Friday except between 1:00pm to 2:00pm each day when the premises are closed.  

Please note that telephone requests for Repeat Prescriptions can be made only after 11:00am and Test Result requests after 2:00pm.


Please also note that in the event of an urgent medical problem between 6:30pm and 8:00am (and all day at weekends and on Bank Holidays) you should contact the NHS111 Service by dialling 111.
